Anyways... I want to tell about how MY life changed forever on 31st October 2010. Ma and Pa went out for ages and ages and finally came home with this little fluffball!
I went from being an 'only dog' to being a puppysitter, playmate, teacher, the subject of many an ambush and much more besides. You can read about my previous life as an 'Only Dog' at http://anniebella1blogspot.com/ *sigh*
Actually, shhhhh...dare I say this....it has changed my life so much for the better! I have lost a bit of weight (Tee Hee) from all the 'activity' and I have a real life moving fluffy toy to play with whose batteries don't often run down! She and I have become close companions. Well she thinks that a bit more than me, but hey, I miss her if she is not 'in my space'! BOL
So, let me introduce Miss Maisie Daisie, born on 5th September 2010 to Mummy Chloe and Daddy Alfie. She has two fursisters. Here she is at two weeks. Not sure which one is her!
Here IS Maisie at four weeks old....awww....
At 6 weeks Ma was pleased to see she took after me and liked to dress up so that was it! She was ours!
She came to stay with us when she was 8 weeks and a day and here she is settled in so well in her comfy crate!
She even made friends with SmidgeCat on Day 1!????
Very clearly from the beginning, she was quite sweet.
She seemed quite up for a bit of playing.... and this was only the first day!
We had a very special present all the way from Canada from Maisie's adopted Daddy, Ollie @theGObros. (Ollie and I did get married on Twitter on 20th August 2010 and you can read all about it here http://olliebtandanniewestie.blogspot.com/ )
On Day 4 of her being with us I showed her the big 'Outside'. She was very confused!
My toy box has a strange new toy in it!
So does my bed!
Maisie says 'Do You Think I Am Getting Too Big For My Bed?'
Nope! Definitely room for two!
Oh oh! Then came the snow! Just as we were about to teach Miss Maisie about 'going' outside!
I did my best!
The first couple of weeks I think Maisie thought that when you went outside it was always going to be white and 10" deep! She was an intrepid Westie and nothing stopped her. I taught her everything I knew about snow!
But she didn't seem to need the advice. (I think she has either been a Polar Bear or a Husky in her previous life!)We had the best fun I have ever had in the snow together.
We just loved it. When will it come again Ma?! BOL! (Bark Out Loud)
We have been out on some fun walks and, after the snow, Maisie learnt all about 'Mud'!
Walks are a bit slower at the moment with lots of stops for a 'sit down'! BOL!
We have fun together. Things must be ok as I'll even let her share MY bed! BOL
Now 'we are two' and I hope you have enjoyed seeing Miss Maisie's first few weeks of life in her big wide world! She grows everyday and I shall have to nose nudge Ma to take some more photos! Maisie has even started going to school now! ROTFBAL.
I pawmise to update more regularly again now Ma has let me get my paws back on da 'puter! BOL
Love Annie (Maisie might write soon when she has learnt how to....) X X
